The War That Made America
During the fall of 2005, PBS will air a four hour documentary devoted to the French & Indian War, the war that set the stage for the American Revolution. From 2004-2009, a series of commemorations, re-enactments, and teacher workshops all over the east coast marking the 250th anniversary of this pivotal event in American history. Often neglected due to time in the school year, this period is essential in understanding the future events of the American Revolution.
