New York State Freedom Trail Curriculum
Teachers will be introduced to elements of the new Freedom Trail curriculum. This curriculum, is part of a statewide initiative to document and interpret the lives and actions of the fugitive enslaved Africans who escaped from slavery in New York State. This session will show teachers some of the exciting and interesting lessons incorporated in this important teaching resource.
