Trains, Towpaths & Turnpikes
An interactive program of stories and songs designed to give insight into how changes in transportation helped to move upstate New York from a newly settled wilderness into the age of the industrial revolution. There is a strong emphasis on how the turnpikes, canals and railroads changed rural life.
