English Iroquois and Iroquois English: How Two Cultures Produced a Third Culture Through Trade, War, and Diplomacy
This program will be in three parts: 1. Oral presentation – trade goods vs. hand-crafted items of Mohawk culture 2. Artifacts – 18th century Mohawk artifacts will be circulated, analyzed and discussed 3. Hands-on crafting of porcelain jewelry or pendent using period accurate drilling and grinding techniques
