Discovering Artifacts
Help students to learn about history through object reading – learn to answer questions about an object by using observation and deduction skills. Hanford Mills Museum will bring in pieces from their museum collection as examples. The Museum’s 110 page publication The Butler Business will also show how you can start with a single object – a barrel head – and relate it to its place in history.

Length: 1 hour 15 minutes
Level: All
Participant Limit: None
