General Information Surrounded by the picturesque fall scenery of the Leatherstocking Region, the New York State Historical Association invites you to our annual two-day October Conference for Teachers. This professional development opportunity focuses on current issues, topics, and practices in social studies education. Come take part in our tradition of offering quality programming and education to New York’s teachers and students. The Conference will be held on the campus of the New York State Historical Association and its sister institution, The Farmers’ Museum. The event begins on Thursday, October 16, and continues with a variety of sessions and presenters through Friday, October 17. Please note that there is no registration fee for 2003-2004 NYSHA/Farmers’ Museum members.
